What is Session and what does it offer?
Session is an online platform for classes, work meetings, webinars and virtual events, with video and voice, a whiteboard, file presenting, screen sharing and chat.
How do I sign up for Session?
Create an account with your mobile number and a text code, then create your room from your panel. No bank card is needed.
Do I need to install software to use Session?
No. Session runs in the browser; the host and participants join simply by opening the room link.
How do participants join a room?
With the room link. Depending on the room settings, only defined users with a username and password can join, or guests can enter with one click after typing their name. A waiting room can hold guests until you admit them.
Features
Can I share my screen?
Yes. Share your whole screen, a single window or a browser tab, with its sound, for everyone in the room.
Can I present a PDF or PowerPoint file?
Yes. Upload the file to the room; its pages are prepared, and everyone moves forward together as you turn them.
Can sessions be recorded?
Yes, on plans that include cloud recording or with a cloud recording package. Recording happens on cloud servers, so your computer is not loaded.
Does Session support a whiteboard?
Yes. You get a pen, marker, shapes, text, an eraser and a laser pointer, with many pages and writing directly on slides.
Can I manage participants’ access?
Yes. Set roles, mute participants, grant or take away permissions (microphone, camera, screen sharing, chat and more) and lock the room, all during the session.

There is a 7-day free trial. After it ends, paid plans with different capacities and durations are available.
What does the free trial include?
For 7 days you get one room with every feature (video, audio, whiteboard, screen sharing and chat) for up to 5 participants. No bank card is needed, and each account can activate it once.
